Privacy policy

Short version: we keep what we need to come fix your lock or alarm, we don't sell it, and we don't share your phone number with anyone who wants to sell you something.

What we collect

When you call, text, or send a request through this website, we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, the address where the work is, what you need done, how urgent it is, and any photo you attach. If you tick the box agreeing to texts, we record that too, with the date and time.

This website sets no advertising cookies and runs no tracking scripts. Our hosting company keeps ordinary server logs, such as the time of a visit and the page requested.

What we do with it

• Your request is emailed to the owner and texted to our licensed technician so someone can call you back.
• If you agreed to texts, we text you a confirmation and, if we can't reach you, a follow-up. Nothing else.
• We keep requests and job records so we can look up past work, send an invoice, and service your alarm system.

What we never do

• We do not sell or rent your information.
• We do not sell or share your text-message opt-in data or your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
• We do not send marketing texts. Texts from us are only about a request you made.

Who handles it for us

Like most small businesses we use a few services to run things. Each one only sees what it needs to do its job: a hosting company stores the website and the requests, an email service delivers our notifications, and a telephone service delivers calls and texts. Phone carriers see the messages they deliver. None of them may use your information for anything else.

Texts, and how to stop them

Reply STOP to any text from us and you will get no more texts; we'll still call you about your request. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (336) 768-5078. The full terms for texting are on our texting terms page.

How long we keep it

Service requests and job records are kept for as long as we might need them to serve you, invoice you, or answer a question about the work, and then deleted. Alarm customers' records are kept for as long as the system is monitored.

Call (336) 768-5078 or email aaakwd@aol.com. Ask and we'll tell you what we have on file and delete it, unless we need it to finish a job or keep a required business record.
